<div>Damn people, now that was a party. Nuff respeck to all the organizers of the LA Decom. Having just come from SF Decom I can say with some degree of certitude we're giving the San Franciscans a run for their money. And while I was a little challenged by the 'special medicine' I'd had earlier, the DMT show was off the hook as well they tell me. <br/> <br/>Let's see what can I remember amid the blur.... Well I remember biting some woman's buttocks, I think she was confessing her sins to the good Reverend doctor at the time. I'm not sure if that was relevant to proceedings but it felt strangely appropriate for some reason. Kid was obviously hyped, despite Burn Free's sloooooow tempo, the crowd was rocking that shiatzu for shizzle. The fabulous DMT girls of course, kicking ass and taking names, (and pulses) and holding down the T&amp;A department like pros. I just can't tell you the amount of times people after the show have recounted with a slightly unhinged glint in their eyes how much they loved the sexual orientation experiment. Proof that grope therapy is exactly what this country needs goddammit! I think we established yet another crucial scientific insight - that there's not many problems that can't be solved with oral sex. <br/> <br/>Damn, apart from tripping over the angels with the mic cord, I think we even got the dance routines right! Fantastic to have Nurse Ramie back on the lab floor and a big shout out to the new girls, Brooklyn gracing your cultured asses with some ballet dancing, while Sheri did the eastern equivalent - belly dancing. The DMT raggamuffin Kream 1, back in the mix, albeit lost in the crowd for Happy Happy. Poor old Kream, I gather he left the party in a daze muttering something about crazy white people - certainly not the average Hip-Hop gig. <br/> <br/>Stay tuned for DMT taking it down to the Venice Carnivale afterparty Oct 28 and the Lou fundraiser Nov 4th. <div>At the last minute we decide to start our show with a tongue in cheek reindition of the Elysian mysteries with our friend Jake trussed up in a toga, while tuvan throat singing the story of Persephone as she exits from Haydes (bringing spring/summer). We weren't too worried about looking like TOTAL hippies because after only a few seconds we'd kick in with a phat Hip-Hop beat and Persephone (played by my gorgeous girlfriend Anna hubba hubba) tears it up with fire staff and swords and shit. Unfortunately it was only then then that we discovered we had a MAJOR technical difficulty and we had NO MUSIC at all. <br/> <br/>But DMT are used to flying by the seat of our collective pants, so imagine the crowd's surprise when the toga wearing Tuvan throat singing weirdo honkey starts spitting a free style rap about being there at Elysium, rhymes and everything. I started beat boxing and Earnest and our new Ragga MC, Kream 1 spring into action with free style raps galore. Free stylers huh, how the fuck do they do that? Busting rhymes on the spot. Now I think pretty fast, but that shiatzu blows my mind. Massive props to Jake, Earn and Kream from saving us from certain hippie doom. <br/> <br/>Also a big shout out to our latest DMT mental nurses, Tanya and Nadia. Halirious and bonerlicious simultaneously. Welcome aboard. And of course maximum respeck to our veteran girls, Trish, Juniper, Julie and even Flexi who couldn't be with us because of a family emergency. Hope all's well Flex! And lastly, thanks to our audience, which is somewhat of a misnomer because a DMT audience actually help us perform the show. We saved a few souls, punished a few sins (Mr E in particular purged his sins on the whipping post) And if we got you up onstage please write in and tell us if our grope therapy worked for you. <br/> <br/>And who's up for watching the video at Doug's this week?
