At the last minute we decide to start our show with a tongue in cheek reindition of the Elysian mysteries with our friend Jake trussed up in a toga, while tuvan throat singing the story of Persephone as she exits from Haydes (bringing spring/summer). We weren't too worried about looking like TOTAL hippies because after only a few seconds we'd kick in with a phat Hip-Hop beat and Persephone (played by my gorgeous girlfriend Anna hubba hubba) tears it up with fire staff and swords and shit. Unfortunately it was only then then that we discovered we had a MAJOR technical difficulty and we had NO MUSIC at all.

But DMT are used to flying by the seat of our collective pants, so imagine the crowd's surprise when the toga wearing Tuvan throat singing weirdo honkey starts spitting a free style rap about being there at Elysium, rhymes and everything. I started beat boxing and Earnest and our new Ragga MC, Kream 1 spring into action with free style raps galore. Free stylers huh, how the fuck do they do that? Busting rhymes on the spot. Now I think pretty fast, but that shiatzu blows my mind. Massive props to Jake, Earn and Kream from saving us from certain hippie doom.

Also a big shout out to our latest DMT mental nurses, Tanya and Nadia. Halirious and bonerlicious simultaneously. Welcome aboard. And of course maximum respeck to our veteran girls, Trish, Juniper, Julie and even Flexi who couldn't be with us because of a family emergency. Hope all's well Flex! And lastly, thanks to our audience, which is somewhat of a misnomer because a DMT audience actually help us perform the show.
